Firstly this is to wish everyone greetings for Christmas with a hope that 2021 brings a return to more normal times.

At present it is difficult to state when we will be able to reopen the club. There are certain positive signs but the future at least in the short term is still very unclear. The roll-out of the vaccination program should mean that a number of our members will receive protection early in the new year. However no mention has been made as yet as to what local restrictive measures will remain in place until more of the population has been vaccinated. Easter has been suggested as a likely review date. Our main considerations are when can we safely reopen and under what terms. Until these are clarified we will regrettably have to remain closed for the coming Spring term.  The feedback from people is that they want to come back as soon as possible but they clearly wish to do so safely.
