Calling local artists or would-be artists

We have a few vacancies in our numbers and would welcome any local people whether you are just starting out or have been painting for ages. We meet every Tuesday morning during term time at the Hempton Village Hall between the hours of 10.am and 12.30. We came from an art class but we are now a friendly group meeting on a mutual help and support basis. We have members of all abilities and styles – so if you are looking for advice there is probably someone there who can help you. We paint or draw in all mediums save for oil paints. Our program is augmented by occasional instructional visits from local artists. Norfolk is renowned for its arts community. We also engage in occasional non-obligatory art challenges. The group decides on the coming term’s program.

Our term fees depend on membership numbers and the program for that term. The fee for our first term for 2024 which starts on the 9^th January and runs until Easter will be £30. This covers the hall hire, tea and coffee artists fees etc.. However, we always allow new visitors two or three free weeks to see if they wish to stay. So pop in if you are interested and meet us. We are a friendly group.
